Abdominoplasty is one of the most commonly performed aesthetic procedures, which encompasses not only aesthetic features but also structural reconstruction of the abdominal wall. Aesthetic enhancements include improvement in abdominal wall contour, reconstruction of a natural-appearing umbilicus, and optimal placement of the resulting abdominal scar. The reconstructive component includes recreation of the original fascial and muscular anatomy as well as the restoration of any other anatomical deformations that may be present. The primary goals in abdominoplasty procedures are to achieve an optimal resection of abdominal skin and subcutaneous tissue in a three-dimensional manner . In addition, the abdominal musculoaponeurotic layer should be restored to prevent abdominal hernias, diastasis, and consequent muscular imbalance of the trunk, while at the same time improving the abdominal wall contour. Due to the number of variations and modifications of abdominoplasties, it is key to select the appropriate technique in every individual case, determining the best procedure by minimizing morbidity and postoperative disability for desirable and predictable results.

Most people are concerned about their physical appearance. When body contour shows aesthetic and functional deformity because of a genetic condition or as an acquired characteristic resulting from obesity, weight loss, pregnancy, or any other cause, the abdomen is one of the most frequently affected regions. Functional and aesthetic deformities of the abdominal wall due to skin flaccidity, lipodistrophy, and diastasis of the fascia and muscles cause many negative psychological, physiological, and aesthetic effects. Abdominoplasty and liposuction attempt to correct those problems.  For the past few years, there has been considerable progress in methods to undermine the abdominoplasty flap and treat abdominal wall fat. Lipoabdominoplasty was developed as a safe aesthetic and functional option combining complete abdominal liposuction and full abdominoplasty in the same surgical procedure, promoting the benefits of both techniques. . There are two components: (1) superficial liposuction, which undermines the flap, making it free to slide to the pubis; and (2) preservation of the abdominal perforating vessels. This technique is more than simply using liposuction while performing abdominoplasty. It is a wider concept that respects abdominal anatomy and substitutes cannula undermining instead of traditional undermining. As a consequence, blood supply from abdominal perforating vessels is preserved.

Liposuction Overview Liposuction is a surgical procedure that uses a suction technique to remove fat from specific areas of the body, such as the abdomen, flanks and back. Liposuction also shapes (contours) these areas. Other names for liposuction include lipoplasty and body contouring. Liposuction isn’t typically considered an overall weight loss method or a weight-loss alternative. If you’re overweight, you’re likely to lose more weight through diet and exercise or through bariatric procedures — such as gastric bypass surgery — than you would with liposuction. You may be a candidate for liposuction if you have too much body fat in specific spots but otherwise have a stable body weight. Why it’s done Liposuction is used to remove fat from areas of the body that haven’t responded to diet and exercise, such as the: Abdomen flanks Back When you gain weight, fat cells increase in size and volume. In turn, liposuction reduces the number of fat cells in a specific area. The amount of fat removed depends on the appearance of the area and the volume of fat. The resulting contour changes are generally permanent — as long as your weight remains stable. After liposuction, the skin molds itself to the new contours of the treated areas. If you have good skin tone and elasticity, the skin is likely to appear smooth. If your skin is thin with poor elasticity, however, the skin in the treated areas may appear loose. Liposuction doesn’t improve cellulite dimpling or other skin surface irregularities. Likewise, liposuction doesn’t remove stretch marks. To be a candidate for liposuction, you must be in good health without conditions that could complicate surgery — such as restricted blood flow, coronary artery disease, diabetes or a weak immune system.

Autologous fat grafting has become a common technique for addressing volume and contour abnormalities in plastic surgery, demonstrating efficacy in both aesthetic and reconstructive procedures.   Fat grafting has been used successfully for buttocks augmentation. Autologous fat grafts have numerous beneficial characteristics  including: low donor site morbidity, simplicity of procedure, low cost, and resultant living autologous tissue at the site of treatment. Additionally, grafted fat has appealing bioactive factors. controversy regarding the predictability and consistency of results that may be obtained with fat grafting, with some studies reporting up to a 70% rate of reabsorption Fat must be harvested, refined, and placed with care to preserve its natural architecture and consistent results. Fat grafting provides a long-lasting, minimally invasive means to restore volume and rejuvenate the face, hands, or buttocks. Fat grafting can be used to heal or replace tissue lost due to aging, trauma, and/or disease, as well as to rejuvenate and dramatically alter the contours of the face, hands, and/or body. Numerous aesthetic and reconstructive problems can be addressed with structural fat grafting, but patient selection is very important. Fat must be harvested, refined, and placed with care to preserve its natural architecture.

Arm lift Overview An arm lift is a cosmetic surgical procedure to improve the appearance of the under portion of your upper arms. During an arm lift — also known as brachioplasty — excess skin and fat are removed from between the armpit and elbow. The remaining skin is placed back over the newly repositioned contours to create a more toned look. Why it’s done As you get older, the skin on your upper arms changes — sagging and becoming loose. Significant weight loss also can cause the undersides of your upper arms to droop. While exercise can strengthen and improve muscle tone in the upper arm, it can’t address excess skin that has lost elasticity. You might choose to have an arm lift if the undersides of your upper arms are sagging. An arm lift might also boost your body image.Risks An arm lift poses various risks, including: Scarring Non-symmetry Sensory changes of the skin Suture problems Bleeding Infection

The attractiveness of the buttocks is not judged in isolation but in proportion to the waist. there is one female body shape that men universally find most attractive (full buttocks, narrow waist). These ideal female proportions are summarized as a waist-to-hip ratio of 0.7 (measuring the waist at its narrowest and the buttock at the level of maximum circumference). There are three acceptable methods of buttock augmentation: (1) silicone implants placed in the subfascial plane; (2) silicone implants placed in the intramuscular plane; and (3) autologous micro fat grafting (MFG).The enhancement of buttock volume with silicone gluteal implants has rapidly gained in popularity over the past decade. For many leaner patients, gluteal augmentation with autologous fat grafting is not an option secondary to the lack of donor tissue. In those patients, gluteal augmentation with silicone implants is the only remaining option to increase buttock volume. Each method of buttock augmentation carries its own set of complications, risks, surgical equipment needs, and complications. Preoperative planning and the surgical technique used should be patient-specific with  regard to individual anatomy and patient desires.
